HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER OF HSF

If you are considering skating as your future sport, but are not 100% sure yet.

Come and start with 2 free trial lessons.

Trial lessons are every Monday at 16:45.

All you need is to have practical and warm clothes on. Also, please remember gloves. If you will feel more secure on the ice with a helmet, please bring your own (or borrow one of ours).

You can borrow skates at HSF.

It's a good idea to meet up 15-20 minutes before training, so you have enough time to get the skates on.

REGISTRATION & TRIAL LESSONS

You can take trial lessons in the following classes:

• FIS PÅ IS - age 3-6 years

Fis på Is (Fun on Ice) has lessons twice a week (Monday and Thursday). Membership costs DKK 500 per season. The season is half yearly  - from August to December and again from January to April.

• SKØJTESKOLE - age 6+ years

The skating school (or as we call it “Skøjteskole”) has lessons twice a week (Monday and Thursday), which provides good opportunities to develop and get a good start in skating. Membership costs DKK 700 per season. The season is half yearly  - from August to December and again from January to April.

• ADULT TEAM

The adult team has lessons every Saturday from 08.00-08.45. Get up early and start the weekend with some good, fun exercise.

Membership costs DKK 550 per season. The season is half yearly  - from August to December and again from January to April.

How to dress:

• Warm and practical clothing

The clothes must be tight-fitting so that the trousers do not "grab" the skate. No jeans. We recommend that you use a thin sock in the skates, as this will give a greater feeling of control over the skate.

• Gloves

You will not be allowed on the ice without gloves. If you happen to forget your gloves, you can buy a pair for DKK 20.

• Helmet

If you have never skated before, it's a good idea to use a helmet. You can bring your own or borrow one of ours.

• Skates

You can borrow skates at HSF.

When you are ready to commit to skating and feel that it is time for your own skates, you can look for second-hand skates and professional equipment for figure skating on the Facebook group "Køb & salg af professionelt udstyr til kunstskøjteløb".

If you wish to purchase new skates/equipment, you can contact:

Skate Bootique on info@skate-bootique.dk.

They have everything you need for skating and are ready to guide you.

It is important that you do not buy skates from sports shops or department stores, as these skates are not good enough for skating training.
