Hello FunSkate riders!
You are hereby invited to this year's training session in Esbjerg Skating Hall on December 10-11.
NOTE! The invitation has been sent by email to runners who will participate.
The address is: Esbjerg Skating Rink, Gl. Vardevej 82, 6700 Esbjerg.
The training session will be divided over two days from approx. 10:00-19:00. Runners will therefore only participate in the session either on Saturday or Sunday. After registration, you will be notified of which day you will participate.
A training session is to give you runners something social to do together and to meet those in the other clubs.
There will be 3 teams per day with a maximum of 18 runners each, as well as 1-3 team leaders. The teams meet in their uniforms in the morning of the day in question 30-45 minutes before the first activity, and go to their own counter to register.
You will then be assigned to your team and will follow the team for the rest of the day. The teams will, to the extent possible, be divided by level and club, and the teams will have 1-3 team leaders each, who will follow the teams throughout the day. It is not certain that parents who register as team leaders will follow their own child's team. The teams will alternately stay in the ice rink, off-ice location and lounge.
When HSF participates, we must also provide a minimum of one team leader per 10 runners we have. There are 11 of you who have been invited, so that means that at least 2 team leaders must be with you. Team leaders must not be on the ice, must be over 18 years old and do not have to pay any extra costs.
There may be restrictions due to Corona. If relevant, these will be communicated to you immediately before the meeting.
The on-ice training will be arranged in small groups with an assigned coach over 3 lessons. There will also be 2 lessons of off-ice activity.
The lecturers at the conference will be announced after the registration deadline.
You must arrange your own transport to and from Esbjerg and there is no possibility of overnight accommodation.
The price for participation in the camp is 395 DKK per runner. This includes: 3 on-ice training sessions, 2 off-ice training sessions, as well as lunch and light snacks.
Registration must be done via the HSF website no later than November 8th. You are welcome to register as soon as possible and please write to me if you do not wish to participate, as it is a first-come, first-served basis and I can then send out HSF registrations as soon as I have received notification from everyone. There is a maximum of 54 runners per day.
If you have any special dietary requirements, please let me know.
There must be at least 2 people who have signed up as team leaders before I can send a final registration. It is free to join as a team leader and you will receive food.
The schedule will be sent to you approximately 2 weeks before the camp and will also be available on the Danish Skating Union's website. It is not possible to say which day you will participate before then.
The camp will be held in accordance with Covid-19 precautions. Reservations are made for cancellation of the camp if it cannot be held in accordance with the recommendations of the authorities. The participation fee will be refunded to all registered participants.
If you have any questions, you are very welcome to write to me, contact me in the hall, or ask André or Veronica.
